Welcome to My Social Orbit ("the App"), made by SpellWright Studios. We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect, where it lives, and the choices you have. You must be 13 or older.
Name, email address, and account identifiers from Firebase Authentication (project my-social-orbit) and the sign-in provider you choose (Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple on iOS when enabled). Firebase is used for sign-in identity only. It is not the app database.
Contacts, notes, tags, social handles, interaction logs, open loops, dates, and related sheet fields. These records are written into Google Docs in a Google Drive folder you own named My Social Orbit (Index, Settings, Interactions, Relationships, and one Doc per person). SpellWright does not host a relationship database.
The App does not read your address book at sign-in. If you tap Import, it may request device contacts and/or Google People (contacts.readonly) and import names, emails, phones, company/title, birthdays (month and day), and import metadata for duplicate detection. Imported fields are stored in Docs you own.
If you use voice input while logging an interaction, the device speech recognizer may convert speech into note text. We store the resulting note only if you keep it.
The App keeps a local replica of your orbit so it can open quickly. Once Drive is connected, Drive is the source of truth. Signing out clears the Drive access token.
If you link Cursor, Grok, Gemini, or any other product to the same Google Drive, that product can read the My Social Orbit Docs the same way it can read any other Doc you opened or shared with it. There is no extra SpellWright API and no API keys for those tools. Do not connect an AI to Drive if you do not want it to see your orbit.
Use and transfer of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use. Drive and Docs access is used to create and update the My Social Orbit folder and files this App creates (drive.file + Docs). People access is used only for optional contact import. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Orbit data lives in your Google account (Drive/Docs) and in a local cache on the device. Google can read Google Docs. SpellWright and Firebase do not receive your relationship records. The App uses drive.file, so it only sees files it created. No passphrase encryption is applied, because encryption would hide the Docs from Drive-linked AI tools. No system is 100% secure.
No sale of personal data. Google provides Authentication, Drive, Docs, and optional People import. Device OS services may process data for optional speech recognition and for opening other apps when you Act.
You can edit or archive people in-app. Deleting a contact moves that person’s Doc to Google Drive trash. You can also trash the My Social Orbit folder in Drive. For account deletion email spartan122096@gmail.com with subject “Account Deletion Request”.
Not intended for children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.
This build does not include ads or in-app purchases. If that changes, this Policy will be updated before those features ship.
We may update this Policy; material changes will be versioned here with a new effective date.
