Welcome to My Social Orbit ("the App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Name, email address, and account identifiers from Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication for sign-in, account security, and syncing your data.
Relationship data you create in the app, including contacts, notes, tags, social handles, interaction logs, relationship records, tasks, and reminder-related dates.
Only if you choose to import Google contacts, we may import names, email addresses, phone numbers, company/title, birthdays and anniversaries (stored as month and day), and import metadata used for duplicate detection and import tracking.
If you use voice input while logging an interaction, the app may use device speech recognition services to convert speech into note text. We store the resulting note text only if you keep it.
We store limited local app state on your device, such as tutorial preferences, contact-import disclosure acknowledgement, last active account ID for background reminders, and widget summary data for supported home screen widgets.
Use and transfer of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use). Imported Google contact data is used solely for user-facing contact import and organization features inside the App. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models except where Google's policy permits.
Your current app data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and in limited local device storage used for app state, widgets, and reminders. Firestore rules restrict access to your own authenticated namespace, but the current production architecture does not use client-side passphrase encryption for cloud records. We apply reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.
If you enable notifications or use supported home screen widgets, limited derived information such as reminder text or summary items may appear on your device surfaces depending on your device settings.
No sale of personal data. Third-party processors such as Google and Firebase help provide authentication, cloud sync, and infrastructure. Device platform services may also process data needed for optional speech recognition, notifications, and widgets.
You can edit or remove many items in-app. Google contact import and voice input are optional. For full account deletion email spartan122096@gmail.com with subject "Account Deletion Request". The app does not currently provide a self-service data export tool.
Not intended for children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this Policy; material changes will be versioned here with a new effective date.
